My lineage traces to Hiroshi Doi, the founder of Gendai Reiki,
and through him to Mikao Usui

Gendai means modern, and Gendai Reiki is a blend
of the systematic western Reiki and the traditional intuitive Japanese Reiki,
or more simply, a modern blend of the East and the West
